Crispy Buffalo Cauliflower Wings for Every Occasion

Crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, Buffalo Cauliflower Wings deliver a spicy kick and satisfying texture that make them an irresistible snack for game days or casual gatherings.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium cauliflower cut into florets
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup water or plant-based milk
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 2 tablespoons melted vegan butter optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C).
  2. Prepare the cauliflower by cutting it into bite-sized florets.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, water (or plant-based milk), garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  4. Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, allowing excess to drip off.
  5. Place the battered florets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them out evenly.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  7. While the cauliflower is baking, mix together the buffalo sauce and melted vegan butter in a large bowl.
  8. Once baked, remove the cauliflower from the oven and immediately toss it in the buffalo sauce mixture until well-coated.
  9. Return the sauced cauliflower to the baking sheet and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving with your favorite dipping sauce.
