These flavorful baked jalapeño poppers offer a satisfying crunch and zesty filling, making them an ideal appetizer for any gathering or festive occasion.

Ingredients
  

  • 10 fresh jalapeños
  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the jalapeños by slicing them in half lengthwise and removing the seeds.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, bacon, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and smoked paprika.
  4. Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half.
  5. Place the stuffed jalapeños on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 20–25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and the jalapeños are tender.
  7. Let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
