Method
- Season the steaks with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Remove the steaks from the skillet and let them rest.
- In the same skillet, add onions and sauté until soft.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Gradually whisk in the beef broth, stirring continuously.
- Add Worcestershire sauce and simmer until thickened.
- Taste and adjust seasoning, if necessary.
- Slice the steak and serve with the gravy on top.
